Spring Training Baseball Camp

Spring Training in Mesquite, NV. is one of the most popular baseball events in the entire country, hosting over 700 players from Utah, Nevada, Arizona, California, Colorado and New Mexico. In addition to the Major League Scouting Bureau and the USA Baseball staff, over forty college coaches and professional scouts will be on hand to get a look at one of the largest H.S. talent showcases in the country. The enormous popularity of this event has the Academy turning away almost 200 ballplayers each year. The program is designed to reacquaint our players to the great outdoors a couple of days before the baseball season starts. This not only gives them a head start, but gives the instructors a chance to teach them parts of the game they would not be able to teach indoors. H.S. players will get a tremendous amount of exposure in front of some of the best instructors in the game today!

“I have been going to this event for the last 7 years and was so impressed with the quality of instruction, the exposure to college coaches and pro scouts, and the amount of repetition, that I am once again taking a small group of Colorado players with me. This event was voted the top instructional camp in the country. Most Major League teams send instructors, and there are some of the most respected names in college baseball at the camp. The Saturday night showcase testing is first class and attended by all coaches and scouts. This is a skills camp with several hours of live, instructed games. Each player gets several live at bats and innings pitched. This is the only camp that I would completely endorse and guarantee to be money well spent. What a way to start the spring season! H.S. tryouts start on February 20th, a day after we return from 75 degree weather!
